Welcome to the Feelings Fitness Podcast. Let's flash back to 2023, when we took a 52 week road trip together to discuss home health, happiness and habits. We created a road trip to work towards feeling fit mind, body and spirit. Now we'll revisit those 52 weeks in just 52 days. There are many more adventures in store for 2024, but let's look back on how far we've come and set ourselves up for more success.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to week 49 of our 52 week road trip through 2023. Together, we have gone through home, health and happiness, and now we are in the habits section of our journey, and all we're really doing is taking out the good habits that have been presented in each of these home, health and happiness sections. And what I'm gonna invite you to do is to start thinking about creating a vision board, and by creating a vision board, you're creating a clear vision of what your ideal future would look like, and this is a habit worth investing time into. If you don't put goals out into the universe, clearly the universe gets confused, and if you confuse, you lose. So let's not lose the momentum we've created on this road trip together and let's put the clear vision of all of the hard work that we've put in this calendar year, put it out to the universe so that we can really manifest what we really want, manifest a feeling that we want. So how are we gonna do this? Well, my suggestion is always to meditate on it. So we can meditate, we can get clear, then we can create this vision board and then we can manifest stuff through stream lined efforts. So it's mini meditation time and we haven't done one of these in quite some time. So find a comfortable seat, or come back to this when you can.

Speaker 1:

Here we go, finding a comfortable seats or lying down, closing the eyes or bringing the gaze downcast, settling in and grounding ourselves with a nice breathing exercise. Remember our yogic breath on the inhale, our belly is going to get big and then, on the exhale, our belly is going to sink back down towards the spine. So three nice deep breaths in through the nose and we'll exhale out through the mouth. Inhale in and exhale out a nice sigh through the mouth. Ah, inhale, letting that belly get really big and exhale, letting that belly sink back down towards the spine. Inhale in through the nose and a nice big sigh out through the mouth, relaxing all the muscles in the body, using the breath to find any tension. So just letting the breath take its natural course, and perhaps a little bit more of a deeper breath, sending some release to any spaces where you feel tension, relaxing the muscles in the face, relaxing the arms, the legs, the hands, the feet, relaxing the belly and just letting the mind relax, almost setting the thoughts on a cloud and letting them float away, releasing any worry, becoming very present in the moment, right now, not judging anything, not worrying about our to-do list, just being here, settling in, releasing tension so that we can start to visualize our ideal future.

Speaker 1:

Who would be in it? What things would be a part of it? What words come to mind? Do any colors present themselves? Relaxing the mind and just letting the thoughts flow and then really settling into how these things, how this vision, how these people, how these words, how these colors make you feel. How do you want to feel? What's the ideal feel that you're striving for? Focusing on the breath if you get distracted, holding onto the feeling. Nice, deep, inhale in and exhale out, and then gently opening your eyes. And if you can jot down a few things that came to mind, what would you like to put onto a vision board? And then, at some point in the not so distant future. Get out a bunch of materials, get out a poster board, get out magazines, all the things and you can create this vision, because having something that you can see, having something tangible, is going to help you get really clear and it's going to keep these clear intentions at the forefront of your mind and it's going to make it easier for you to manifest these goals.

Speaker 1:

What I will say is I have been doing a lot of visioning for this feelings fitness community that I've created. So, moving forward into the new year, I'll actually be taking Q1 to put it all together, to put all of my visions together that I have created on a vision board. I've done post-it, note parties, all the things to really get clear on what is going on here. What is the point of all of this? Where do I want it to go? That being said, if you want to stay in touch, feelings fitness will still be on Facebook and Instagram. I will also still be doing a weekly email to keep everyone up to date on this reboot of feelings fitness. If you are not on that email list but you would like to be, the only way kind of to get on there now is to send me a DM on Facebook or Instagram with your email address and I will add you in there, because it's a little bit goofy with all of the website stuff and all that stuff right now. So this year was all about a rough draft of a roadmap. Next year it will be more refined, with a functional website, show notes, links and all the things. So you know, some years are more perfected than others, but it's all about progress, not perfection. I hope you're enjoying 52 weeks and 52 days, a compact version of the transformational road trip we took through 2023. We're revisiting those 52 episodes and it's a review of home health, happiness and the habits that guide the way to feeling fit mind, body and spirit. It's also a food for thought for how you want to feel.
